FAQs



Placing an order for Home Delivery. To place an order, please head to our Online Shop to find the different food products available to buy from us.  To proceed, please click on the product you would like to purchase, 'Adding to Basket' and this item appears in your shopping basket at the top right of the page, along with any extra items you would like to add. You are able to review and amend your shopping basket at any time during this process. When you have completed your shopping, please check your order in your online Shopping Basket, adding any Special Instructions to us in the indicated message box if required, and then click proceed to the checkout. At the checkout, you will see the total amount due for payment, i.e. the total amount owing for the products placed in your 'Basket'. (This amount includes any vat applicable on products).You can either pay via Paypal, or you can enter your debit/credit card details to make the payment. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Apple Pay.  Please enter all the information requested, including your telephone number in case we need to contact you about your order or delivery. Once you have confirmed all the necessary details, you can proceed and complete your order. You will then receive an email to confirm the order (i.e. the contract) has been received, and processed, also letting you know when delivery will be made. Following this confirmation email, as we supply perishable goods i.e. frozen food, we are unable to cancel the order (the contract).

We aim to get your order delivered as soon as we can and we appreciate if you can work with us to enable us to deliver at a time that fits in with our deliveries. Please note that we are only able to process an order once we have received payment. 


How to pay for your order. We accept payment via Paypal, or visa/debit cards including Visa, MasterCard, American Express. Should you wish to pay by phone, please call 01732 851523. Calls from UK landlines and mobiles are charged at basic rate.


Where do we deliver? We currently supply to homes within the red circle on the  'Home Delivery' Map. (Any orders received outside this area may be rejected). We will send a confirmation email when your order has been processed, letting you know the  day/estimated time for despatch. 


Buying from us .  If you need to alter your order, please contact us within 2 hours of placing the order. We plan and ship your order as soon as we can and we therefore cannot guarantee that any changes can be made. Please contact us on salcombedairy@btconnect.com . If we are unable to deliver to you, or have to deliver late for reasons beyond our control, e.g. adverse weather conditions, strike actions, vehicle breakdowns, traffic congestion etc, we cannot accept liability for any inconvenient that this causes.


Products we supply: NV Foods Ltd supplies products made in the UK, some of them contain allergens, including WHEAT, BARLEY, MILK, SOYA, NUTS, CELERY, FISH, SULPHITES. 


Receiving your order: We are committed to ensuring your order reaches you in good condition. You must check the products at the time of delivery, this is finalising of the order (the contract). If you have any issues, please inform the driver, or contact us on 01732 851523. 


Returns: We very much hope that you will be entirely happy with your order. As we supply food which is classed as 'perishable goods', we are not able to accept returns unless a product is deemed to be 'faulty'. If you have any issues, please contact us via email salcombedairy@btconnect.com as soon as possible with your order details.

Terms and Conditions: Thank you for visiting our site, we recommend that you read our terms and conditions before purchasing from us. The majority of the products we sell are listed and supplied as 'Supplied Frozen'. Any products listed and ordered via our website at www.nvfoods.delivery  must be paid for before we are able to process the order.  Please only continue to place an order with us, if you are happy to accept our terms and conditions. You may alter your order (contract) within two hours of placing the order, as after this time, the order is being sorted for despatch and we are therefore unable to amend it. Please ensure you have provided us with your email address and telephone number so that when the order is received and payment is made we are able to contact you to confirm the order. If we have not been given the correct information, including your contact details, (email, phone number) we are unable to accept liability if a product is delayed. We do our best to ensure the availability of all products listed on our website, and that the description of the products available remains entirely accurate and we reserve the right to alter inaccuracies on the website, update information or cancel orders without prior notice, including after you have placed your order. If the products you have ordered are not available, we will get in contact with you, either by telephone or by email if these details have been supplied to us at the time of placing the order. You can then either wait until the product is back in stock, or you can cancel the order and we will refund your payment. We supply to homes within our current delivery area as specified on our 'Home Delivery Map' on the website. Orders received from postcodes outside the Home Delivery area may be rejected. We use our own delivery vehicles to deliver orders. and we despatch the order to the delivery address specified to us. Please ensure the delivery address has been entered correctly. We do not charge for deliveries within the red circle on our 'Home Delivery Map'. We are not liable for products delivered to a wrong address supplied to us as the delivery address on the order. Risk of damage to, or deterioration or loss of the products passes on to the customer once the delivery has been checked with the customer at the time of delivery. We reserve the right to alter the information on this site at any time. It is the responsibility of the customer to visit the site to monitor any changes that we might make, be it products or flavours that are available, or pricing, or discontinuing our service, any of these can be changed without notice. We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any products or services that we offer. We have created the website, hosted by GoDaddy, displaying the goods for sale as clearly as we can. We are not responsible for how your own computer/phone displays the image colour. We reserve the right to change our Terms and Conditions as and when necessary. We reserve the right to refuse service for any reason under any circumstances. In no case shall NV Foods Ltd, our directors, officers, employees, affiliates, agents, contractors, interns, suppliers, service providers or licensors be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages of any kind, including without limitation lost profits, lost revenue, lost savings, loss of data, replacement costs, or any similar damages, whether based in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability or otherwise, arising from your use of any of the service or any products procured using the service, or for any other claim related in any way to your use of the service or any product, including, but not limited to, any errors or omissions in any content, or any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use of the service, even if advised of their possibility. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England.   All rights, including copyright, relating to goods on our website are owned by NV Foods Ltd t/a Salcombe Dairy.
